    Sinopsis: La explosión del video digital transformó, en los últimos años, el registro de acontecimientos familiares, multiplicándolo y a la vez subiendo el estándar de la imagen. Muchos sueñan con usar estos elementos para construir un relato que interese a un público mayor; la subjetividad ineludible del material es el principal obstáculo para lograr a partir de él una película “de verdad”. Papirosen muestra los hilos invisibles que unen a los componentes de la familia, sus juegos de poder, sentimientos y contradicciones. Por si esto fuera poco, también tiene un tema: la paternidad y su sentido a través de las generaciones, desde el histriónico Víctor que preside el clan hasta el pequeño Mateo, fruto del nuevo milenio y testigo, a la vez que reservorio, de los ritos, costumbres y relatos que hacen de la familia un mundo aparte.

    The boom of digital video in recent years transformed the recording of family events, multiplying it and raising the standard of the images. Many people dream about using these elements to build a story that would attract a large audience –the inevitable subjective nature of these materials are the main obstacle to achieve a “real film” out of it. Papirosen shows the invisible strings that weave together family components, its power games, feelings, and contradictions. As if that wasn’t enough, it also has a themEdición: paternity and its meaning throughout different generations, from histrionic Víctor, who presides the clan, to little Mateo, a child of the new millennium who is both the witness and the reserve of the rituals, habits, and stories that turn a family into a world in its own.
