Camila Guzmán Urzúa
(Chile, 1971)
Nació en Santiago de Chile, en 1971. A los 2 años, su familia se instaló en La Habana, donde creció. En 1990 abandona Cuba y, desde entonces, ha vivido en España, Inglaterra, Chile y, desde hace 7 años, en Francia. Estudió Cine en Londres, en el LCPDT, y en Les Ateliers Varan en París. Ha trabajado como ayudante de dirección y productora en películas de ficción y documentales. El telón de azúcar (2006) es su primera película.
Camila Guzmán Urzúa (1971), born in Santiago, Chile, moved at the age of two with his family to Havana where she grew up. In 1990 she left Cuba and, since then she lives in Spain, she has also has lived in the United Kingdom, Chile and, for seven years in France. She studied film in London at the LCPDT and at the Les Ateliers Varan in Paris, France. He worked as assistant director and producer of narrative and documentary films (2006). El telón de azucar is her first feature film.
