Rosana Matecki is a Venezuelan filmmaker who studied Social Communications in Caracas. She is passionate about the ancient knowledge and costumes of indigenous peoples. She has devoted her 18-year career to the independent production of documentaries with indigenous, ethnical and social contents. Matecki’s documentaries are journeys of rediscovery of ancient knowledge and collective memory; towards the south and within the magic of popular culture.
