    Carolina “Coca” Gómez Riquelme nace en Londres, en 1975. Estudió Filosofía en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Santiago de Chile. Comienza sus labores en el ámbito de la producción  de teatro en 1994, y sus pasos en el audiovisual en 1999, cuando escribe su primer guión para TV, la teleserie Cerro Alegre, que le merece el premio Apes al mejor Guión de TV de 2000.

    Durante los próximos 7 años, continúa desarrollando su destacada labor de guionista para múltiples proyectos, incluyendo en 2004, Geografía del deseo, que escribe junto al director Boris Quercia y, es distinguido con el premio Altazor al Mejor Guión de TV. En 2005, enfrenta uno de los mayores desafíos profesionales: dar inicio al área dramática de Chilevisión, que debuta en las telenovelas con Vivir Con 10. Entre 2005 y 2007 fue directora ejecutiva de Parábola Producciones. Normal con Alas (2007), su debut como directora, es una comedia que constituye un homenaje a sus años de juventud colegial.
