    José Ángel Palacios Lascorz, nació en Caracas, el 8 de diciembre de 1966. Cineasta y director de fotografía venezolano. En su juventud fue Secretario de Comunicaciones de la Federación Nacional de Cineclubs en la Universidad Simón Bolívar, donde cursó estudios. Fue Miembro principal del Comité Directivo Regional del Estado Miranda de la UJR y de la Comisión Nacional de Propaganda. Viajó a Cuba, a la Escuela internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de los Baños, para profundizar sus estudios de cinematografía, siempre con un trasfondo social.


    Jose Angel Palacios was born on December 8, 1966 in Caracas, Venezuela. He is known as Ángel Palacios and is film director and director of photography. At a young age, he was a secretary of communication of the National Federation of Film Societies at the Simon Bolivar University, where he also studied. He was also main member of the Regional Directive Committee (Comité Directivo Regional del Estado Miranda) of the UJR in the State of Miranda and of the National Commission of Advertising (Comisión Nacional de Propaganda). He travelled to Cuba and entered the International Film and Television School (Escuela internacional de Cine y TV), of San Antonio de los Baños, Havana, Cuba, to advance in his film studies, always looking for the social undercurrent in film.
