José María Cabral (1988-) is a young Dominican filmmaker who began his career with the medium length film Traición Oculta (2006). His second feature Excexos (2008), was based in real events. It depicts the attitude assumed by some sectors of the youth of the wealthy Dominican society that because of his wealth surpass all limits and fall victims of the worst addictions.
Cabral finished studies in film production at the New York Film Academy, United States.
