    Con estudios en la Universidad ARCIS y la Escuela de San Antonio de los Baños en Cuba, y tras dirigir algunos cortometrajes y documentales, el realizador José Luís Sepúlveda debuta en el largometraje con Mitómana,historia de agobio y opciones agotadas. También estuvo al frente del Primer Festival de Cine Social de La Pintana, centrado en temáticas de discriminación y falta de oportunidades: realidades muy cercanas a las que aborda El pejesapo.



    José Luis Sepúlveda  studied at the University of ARCIS and the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, Haban, Cuba. After directing some short and and documentary films, he debuted in the feature film with Mitómana, a story of burdens and exhausted options. He was also at the head of the first Festival of Social Cinema of La Pintana (Festival de Cine Social de La Pintana), centered in the theme of discrimination and lack of opportunities: facts that are very close to the ones that his feature El pejesapo deals with.
