    Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación, ha escrito y dirigido el corto de ficción Hoy sí y el documental Resistir para vivir, resistir para avanzar. Distancia es su ópera prima y fue seleccionada para Cine en Construcción de Toulouse y San Sebastián, además de obtener el premio Cinergia.


    ergio Ramírez directed documentaries such as Resist to live, Resist to Advance (2009). He was also the assistant director of the feature-length film One Day of Sun (2009), directed by Rafael Tres. He is currently promoting his first feature-length film Distance, which won as Best Opera Prima at Havana Film Festival in Cuba, 2011. Also he is writing and co-producing the script for his second feature-length film All Saints.
