    Nació en Wisconsin. Su madre de Trinidad y Tobago y el padre estadounidense. Después de graduarse en Wisconsin, se mudó a Nueva York, donde matriculó en la prestigiosa escuela de cine de la Universidad de Nueva York, donde trabajó con Spike Lee, entre otros cineastas.

    En 2005 Anderson hizo su película de tesis, Jeffrey's Calypso. Filmada en Trinidad, cuenta la historia de un joven hombre indo-trinitense, Jeffrey (Dino Maharaj), dividido entre seguir los pasos de su padre y trabajar como contable, y seguir su sueño, que es ser un calypso. MOKO JUMBIE (2016), es otro de sus proyectos escrito y dirigido por ella.


    Was born in Wisconsin to a mother from Trinidad and Tobago and an American father. After doing her undergraduate degree in Wisconsin, she moved to New York. She enrolled in New York University’s prestigious film school, where she worked with Spike Lee, among other filmmakers.

    In 2005 Anderson made her thesis film, Jeffrey’s Calypso.
    Anderson was recently in Trinidad to work on the script for an as-yet unnamed feature film, set here, which she hopes to make next year.
