  • The Harder They Come

    Sinopsis: Es la historia de Iván, muchacho campesino inocente quien llega a la gran ciudad de Kingston con el fin de lograr la fama y la fortuna como estrella de reggae. Sin embargo, no encuentra el estrellato sino pobreza, traición y desesperación. Finalmente el muchacho deriva en la delincuencia y el pistolerismo. La película se inspira en la vida de un personaje real del ghetto, que murió en un tiroteo con la policía.

    It is the story of Iván, a  rural innocent boy who arrives to the big city of Kingston with the purpose of achieving fame and the fortune as a reggae star. However, he does not find stardom but poverty, betrayal and desperation. Finally the boy falls in with delinquency as a gunman. The film is inspired by the life of a real character of the ghetto who died in a shooting with the police.
