    Sinopsis: Basada en relatos de veteranos puertorriqueños de la guerra de Viet Nam. Dos soldados boricuas que coinciden en la guerra por razones muy distintas. Sus vivencias se intercalan con el drama que se presenta en su tierra, ante la ausencia del entorno familiar.

    Ivan Dariel Oritz's Vietnam war drama Heroes de otra Patria (Heroes From Another Country) follows two Puerto Rican soldiers as they attempt to live through their military service. When Viet Cong troops ambush a platoon that includes Carlos and Raul, the duo become separated from their fellow troops. As the two wander through the foreign terrain and fight their crippling emotions, the audience learns about the difficult home-life situations both of these young men left behind in Puerto Rico.
