Sinopsis: La historia de personas sin hogar, refugiados e inmigrantes que ocuparon un cine abandonado y el proceso artístico que los convirtió en estrellas de cine. El equipo de la película reabrió el cine, proyectó cintas clásicas e invitó a los residentes a un taller de actuación donde luego, como actores, recrearon los momentos más sorprendentes de las mismas. Antes de enfrentarse a la realidad de perder sus hogares, ocuparon el cine no sólo como un espacio físico, sino como un lugar de ensueño. Pasaron de la vida a la ficción, de tres a dos dimensiones, habitando el lugar más noble de un cine: la pantalla.
The story of the homeless, African refugees and Latin American immigrants who occupied an abandoned cinema and the artistic process that turned them into movie stars. The film crew reopened the theater, screened the classic movies and invited the residents for an acting workshop where, then as actors, they reenacted the most striking moments of these films. Before facing the reality of losing their homes, they occupied the cinema not only as a physical space but as a place of dreams. They went from life to fiction, from three to two dimensions – inhabiting the noblest place of a theater: the screen.
