    Sinopsis:

    Roberto Rodríguez tiene 17 años y es un perdedor. Está gordo, usa lentes y nadie lo respeta. Es un freak de nacimiento que se escapa del mundo real dibujando comics donde retrata su patética existencia. Las clases comienzan y llega una alumna nueva, Cristina, una escultural chica-de-ensueño que lo vuelve loco. Roberto intenta enamorarla pero se topa con Fele, el chico cool-guapo-con-onda del colegio, quien seduce a Cristina y se burla de él.


    Roberto is 17 years old, draws comics in his spare time when he is not busy reading them, and likes to imagine himself an invincible superhero called "The Strange Obesity of Being." However, Roberto's daily life is anything but heroic; he is the target of cruel jokes from most of his classmates, and his only friends are a pair of fellow outcasts, nerdy Papitas and Condoro, who has a less-than-wholesome interest in girls. When beautiful Cristina arrives from Spain and enrolls at the same school as Roberto, he immediately falls head over heels in love, and is determined to make her his own.
