Sinopsis: El filme tiene escenas documentales de la festividad tradicional y sangrienta de las tierras del norte de Potosí. El tinku es el ritual que riega sangre como ofrenda a la madre tierra.

High in the Bolivian Andes, Tinku, an annual spring ritual, occurs between two villages near the end of April. Believing that a little human blood must be spilled to insure new life and a good harvest the village men don leather helmets and the women their brightest clothes and head off for rival mountain towns where they engage in a melee of fisticuffs. This Italian documentary chronicles one such Tinku celebration.
