    Sinopsis:

    Marisa es  una mujer realizada socialmente, pero con problemas familiares. Miguel ha logrado estabilidad personal, pero tiene que replantearse su vida pasada cuando debe regresar a Nuevitas, su ciudad natal.


    The revolutionary government of Cuba transformed the port city of Nuevitas in the province of Camaguey from an impoverished area to one filled with progress and hope. In this story, a woman named Marisa Sanchez is responsible for this transformation. She has devoted her whole life to this effort. A scholar puts together the clues which point to the key role Marisa played in effecting the transformation of Nuevitas. He sees that her work, prematurely cut short by an automobile accident, is not ended, and he is inspired to take up where she left off.
