Lincoln Cushing, Estados Unidos de América
Lincoln Cushing was born in Cuba to American parents before immigrating to the United States. As a graphic designer and archivist, he began in the 1980s to turn his attention to documenting and cataloging political posters, among them the posters produced by the revolutionary Cuban government. He has returned to Cuba numerous times, working with the Cuban national library, government archives, and the individual poster artists, as well the University of California at Berkerley and private collectors to research and preserv these posters.A librarian at the university´s Institute of Industrial Relations, he lives in Berkeley.
